Looking for any information on the family of
Thomas Clay, Jr. and wife Susanna Smart 1812 in VA. Thomas was in the War of 1812. She was the daughter of William and Elizabeth Smart. Did Thomas Clay have a brother named William Clay who married a Judith Smart.
William Clay died in Tenn. Thomas Jr. and Susanna moved to Monroe Co. IN and are buried in Methodist Cem. at Ellettsville, IN. Thomas died 1873 age 79, Susanna died 1857 age 65.
How did the following Clays tie in to the above. Thomas Clay, Sr. b. l760? in Rev. War
Married Ann Clay? Lived Amelia Co. Va?
