The 1850 Census for Russell Co., VA listed
the following:

Clay, Albert G. 45 m Farmer b. NC
Elizabeth 42 f b. Smyth Co. VA
James M. 20 m Laborer b. " " "
George W. 17 m Laborer b. " " "
Martin G. 15 m b. " " "
Rufus M. 12 m b. " " "
William H. 10 m b. Smyth Co. VA

This family is not listed in the 1860 Census for this Co. He must have imigrated to KY. His wife Elizabeth died in Carter Co., KY bet. 1860-1866. Albert was a witness to will of William Fraley in Russell Co. in 1847. I
don't know if this is of any help, but sure hope so.

Charles
