I'm afraid I don't have any more information about Hannah Clay.

However, you did mention that your records show her marrying someone from Amelia County, VA. That part sounds reasonable, as I have a record that says her father, Thomas Clay, was deeded 250 acres of land in Amelia County, VA by his father (Hannah's grandfather) Charles Clay. I would guess then that Thomas lived in Amelia County, and so his daughter Hannah probably would have lived there, as well. That would have made it very convenient to meet/marry someone from there.

This is just speculation on my part, but it sounds reasonable to me, anyway.
