Hurricane wind capsized boat and Adam Clay drowned 6 Oct 1873 in Fort Myers, Florida.
Adam Clay is my great,great grandfather. I only have his wife's first name Mary. He had a son named William Sidney Clay born 4 Oct 1831 in Macon,Bibb, Ga. Married to Nancy Annie Metts, C 1858. Willizm died 10 Dec 1906. Annie Metts born 1838 in Washington Co. Georgia died 11 June 1875. They are both buried in Buckingham, Florida beside each other. William other two wives were Rebecca Hogan (divorced) and Mary J. Hogan.
