Mitchell Clay, born 1735, died abt 1812 in Henrico, Va., was married to Phoebe Belcher, born 1740 in Franklin Co., Va. and had two sons that I know of that was David Peyton Clay, born 1756 in Duplin Co., N.C. died 1818 and he married Eva Hardin September 26,1792 in Warren Co., Ga. William Clay married Mary Hardin. This is all I have on Mitchell Clay. Would like to know who his parents were and the names of all his children. I also need info on his wife, Mary. My Grandmother was Eliza Clay married to John David Poole.
ELiza Clay's father was William Sidney Clay, son of Adam Clay, son of David Peyton Clay, son of Mitchell Clay. These are the Clay's that was born in Ga. but lived in Florida.
