Thanks for the info. Our family has submitted a DNA sample since we have not been able to prove our lineage. We do feel our line goes through Tolbert/Talbott/Tallbird Clay, but hopefully it will be settled soon. I see where Delphia stops paying taxes in VA about 1816 and it is thought she probably died, but as yet have found no record of her death. One individual on the Cleaton side indicated that she may have been married several times and died in NC. Not sure if she outlived the husbands or divorced them. I believe I see where William Cleaton was still living past 1816. She must have been some character for those days if this is true.
