They had ten children: Lucy Jacob, James Brown, John Cathcoat Johnston, Henry (Harry) Independence, Lucretia Hart (Teetee), Thomas Jacob, Susan Maria, Charles Donald, George Hudson, and Nathaniel Hart. Lucy Jacob Clay [969] was born on 10 Aug 1844 and died on 7 Mar 1863 at age 18. James Brown Clay Jr. [960] was born on 27 Jan 1846 and died on 7 Feb 1906 at age 60.
