I'm hoping someone can help me shed some light on my search.
Can anyone make a connection between Sarah/Elizabeth/Sarah Elizabeth Clay (b.1801 or 1810) who married John Peter Riffe/John Riffey (b.1785 or 1790) and a son called William Madison Riffey (b.1845)?
I have found conflicting evidence with William's father's line of Riffe/Riffeys and also I can find no evidence of his mother's parents.
Though I have found loads of information on the Clay line I can't find the link for Elizabeth/Sarah.
Any help would be much appreciated.
