Well, this date is a bit different:

"JUDITH CLAY, b. 1737; m. ca. 1754 Thomas FARLEY; on 6 Feb. 1779, Thomas Farley and Juda his wife of
Montgomery Co., Va., deeded to William Clay of Bedford Co. 250 acres of land on the north side of Blackwater
River . . . with reference to the line of Jesse Clay . . ."

This is from Charles Knighton's book --_Clay, Bruce, and Kavanaugh Families, Lineage Memorial Revisited_, p 11.

I can ask Charles where he got the reference, as I see it isn't sourced specifically.
