Marshall

I see that your name is McCoy, and that the ancestor in question is a female. Unfortunately, that means DNA won't help you because the yDNA requires a male to male to male line.

Can you tell us any more about Mary Susan Bennett? Does anyone have any "guesses" as to who her parents were?

When was she orphaned? I do not find her in the 1850 census in Wayne County, so did she move from there at an early age?

Pat (in Tucson)
