Beyon John Clay 1635/38 to 1686

Several years ago I was given the Clay line. Via the Virginian and other sources have proved up to John Thomas Clay. However there are 5 generations above him. Does anyone have information on them. They are:
1st gen. John Claye of Darby
2nd gen. John Claye of Gloucester 1558 to 1632
3rd gen. John Claye 1558 to 1632
4th gen. John Thomas Clay abt 1587 to 1655 m Anne Nichols
5th gen. John Thomas Clay no dates m Anne
Also are the above two John Thomas Clays the same person?
