I think we have a connection here. My father was Everett Donald Clay, b. Nov. 16 1905 or 1906 on a farm near Rochester, Indiana. Info is scant, but his father was Roy Clay (d. 1940's?). Mother, or step-mother, was a Rhinesmith. My father had a sister Dessie Clay who married Lester Emmons, who I believe was related to her. Dessie and Lester later lived in South Bend and had no children. My father also had a brother Raymond.
