Let's see if I've got this right. Folks, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I have Richard Belcher, b.1710, d.1763 married to Mary Obedience Clay (not to be confused with the younger Mary Obedience clay, whose
father was Mitchell Clay and mother was Phoebe Belcher). This would make Richard/Mary's son Isham, the nephew of Phoebe Belcher as suggested. Isham Belcher b. 1732, married Elizabeth Clay, b. 1734. My link is through their daugher Sarah Mary or Mary Sarah who married Isaiah Perdue.
