CLAY , SCOTT , EAKES, HENDRICKS, and related surnames.
Clay , Rebecca ..I am trying to find her parents' names..
she was born 1843, Tennessee. she was found on the 1850 Wilson County , Tennessee census living with a Randell or Randal or Sandell family..I really can't make out the name..She was an orphan?? And native American ..I am looking for her connection to trace this ancestry. Rebecca married
WOODSON Eakes..they had several children..went to Rosston, Texas. One of her sons' WILLIAM "Bill" Eakes married my greatgrandmother : Johnnie Leonard Scott...(Johnnies' mothers' name was Elizabeth Hendricks*, and her father was Blake Joseph Scott.) REBECCA CLAY EAKES moved to Chickasha , Oklahoma Grady county where she lived with her son Robert Eakes until she died in 1923..(William and Johnnie lived there also.) any follow up will be appreciated.
