This might be my relative!!!! I have been looking for where he might have come from. Unfortunately I do not have my materials with me to recite the dates, but please write back if this looks remotely similar to your Elijah. What i have is as follows:

Elijah is my Great-great grandfather. His mother was Elizabeth. He lived in Steuben Co. Indiana. His first wive died after giving birth to all his children. His second wife was Eliza Anderson I think. His children were: Minor Truman, Curtis Joseph, Susanna, Lucritia, Elwood. - I think it is something like that. His son, Joseph Curtis Clay or Curtis Joseph Clay, either one, owned a farm near Ashley in Steuben Co. He married a lady named Gertrude Swank. He died early this century around the 1920s? He had two children, Walter Elijah and Naomi Arlien. Walter Elijah Clay is my grandfather. He was born in 1907 near Ashley, Ind. and died in 1983.
I do of course have more info. and can get it pretty fast for you. I have complete dates on all of them, maps, and pictures back to Elijah Clay. Please respond by email or write me at-
