Mitchell and Phoebe Clay had the following children, not necessarily in birth order: David, Charles, Tabitha, Bartley, Ezekiel, Mitchel Jr, Rebecca, Obediance, Mary, Patience, Nannie, William, Henry T.and Sallie. I have some info on some of these. This information came from the book "History of the Mitchell clay and Phoeve Belcher Family." Purchased from Nancy Clay, Box 77, Saulsville, WV 25876 several years ago.
Do you have the info that Phoebe Belcher Clay was the daughter of Francis Belcher and Phoebe Cabaniss? Phoebe Cabaniss was the daughter of Matthew (who married Hannah Clay). Matthew son of Henri Cabanis who with wife and infant son arrived in Jamestowne 23 Jul 1700 on the "Mary and Ann." Henri was a French Protestant (Huguenot) refugee.
