My great grandfather was named Philip Lockhart Clay from Louisiania. It might have been Opelousa. I think he was born in the 1870's. He fathered four children (Ida, Alma Cleo (my grandmother who was born 1907), Bowley (not sure if that's his real name) and one other. Rumor has it that Philip was half Native American (Choctaw) and part Scottish and English. Any relation to you?
