Although not documented, it is supposed that
Judith Clay who md. Thomas Farley in 1759,
was the daughter of William Mitchell Clay,
who was killed by the Indians while hunting
c.1774. The William who d.1810, Franklin Co.,
VA. is thought to be Judith's brother. I
do not have a copy of his will, and would
appreciate having one if possible.
