Granville / Greenville Clay - WV

I'm new at tracing my family roots and have ran into a wall. I have been told that a distant relative Granville Clay married Elizabeth Ann Pettry. I have been able to trace my ancestors to this point and no further. In trying to find information on Granville I have found that there is a Greenville Clay that also married an Elizabeth Ann Pettry. Would anyone have any information as to whether these two Clays are one and the same. Any help would be very much appreciated.
