I've run into a snag in my research. I've always been told I am a direct descendant of Henry Clay, statesman, but can't connect between the two. My gg grandfather was a James Clay who married Louiza Henderson, KY?,ILL? Son born E.Green Dallis Clay,Marshall county, KY, january 4, 1888. He married Josephine Salyers 4-8-1913. Any info on James or siblings would be greatly appreciated.
