I have a John C Clay in my file. He was born in VA and married Susan Pointdexter Jan 12, 1823. I don't have any info on him for other marriages, children, or his death date.
The two brothers I have for him are William and Thomas. They were born abt 1792 and 1794. So it is possible that we could be talking about the same man. I have info on his parents, g-parents, if you're interested. Feel free to contact me for any further info.
