I am looking for information on my grandfather and his family. His name was James Monroe Clay, born in 1887 or 1888. My father was James Edwin Clay. He was born on 11/14/1911 and his birth certificate says his father was born in Atlanta (maybe or maybe not) and he was 23 years old. My grandfather left when my father was only five. I never knew him or anything about him. I would really like to trace this side of my ancestry. If anyone has any information, I would greatly appreciate your sharing it with me.
