I do know of a Nellie Clay whose parents were Henry Clay and Clara Hoover Clay. They had 4 children, Nellie, Martin b. 1897, Roy, and Ed. Martin Clay had a son Taylor Clay who married Helen Shula and had two sons named James and William who to the best of my knowledge are still living in the Fresno California area..
