We have now found "Erwin Clarence Claxton" also listed as "Irwin C Claxton" and "Ervin Claxton" (SS Death Index) and "Irvin Claxton" (1930 US Census) ... I knew him as "Grandpa" and Erwin Clarence Claxton. He was born in Wright County, MO, but also lived in Butler County, KS, and El Dorado, KS. Still looking for his parents.
