I am Florilla Claxton Scott's grandaughter. Her parents were Lewis Van Buren Claxton(1840-1917) and Martha Autry Claxton(1842-1922). Lewis's mother was Sarah Claxton( 1813-1885). All are buried At Phillipi Baptist Cemetery in Johnston, SC. I'm looking to verify the parents of Sarah who never married and had two children fathered by Wilson Lee Coleman.I think Sarah's parents were Henry and Fannie Claxton who have a memorial plaque at Phillipi but they may have disowned her. Anyone who can help with parents, please let me know.
