Leah Clawson (3 April 1791-25 Jan 1878), daughter of Garret Clawson Jr. and Keziah Sturgis, married Ebenezer Griffin (12 Aug 1788-13 Sep 1848). They had these children: Thomas, b. 13 June 1810; Mary F., b. 21 Nov 1811; Garret Clawson, b. 23 May 1815; Maria N., b. c 1818; Kesiah, b. 15 Mar 1820; Alpheus, b. 6 Jan 1827. Thomas m. Elizabeth [Casement, or Coseman, or Wiseman - various sources give these variations) and resided in present Ritchie County, WV.
