Hello Heather,
The only trace I have of Josiah is that there is a tax record for Josiah Clawson that is from 1763 for Tyrone Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Tyrone is now part of Perry County. Also it appeared he died before 1781 since the tax records lists a widow Clawson and Richard and Peter as paying taxes.
