Here is the information on a John Clawson who died Feb 15, 1907 in Fountain County: He was born Feb 1, 1844 in Richland Twp, Fountain County to Moses and Joanah Bake Clawson. He married Frances Ann Stephens on Aug. 2, 1866 in Fountain County. Frances was born June 21, 1847 and died October 6, 1925. John and Frances are both buried in the Old Baptist Cemetary in Fountain County. The only children I know of are: Anna (Mary Joanna) Clawson born March 17, 1868 and died January 7, 1929 (both in Fountain County). She is also buried in the Old Baptist Cemetary. There may be more children - I have not researched into yet.
Is it possible that he had a second (or first) marriage???????
