Have you been able to rule out John Clawson b. abt 1765 VA, d. Nov 1827 Preble Co. OH, m. Mary Wheatley? This John is the son of Gerrit Clawson b. possibly Nethlands, d. PA, settled in old Westmoreland Co. before 1763. I only have one child for this John, and his name was Garrett b. abt 1795 (no further information). Siblings of John are Thomas (m. Sophia Covalt), Peter (m. Dolly Garrison and Teresa), Garrett (m. Keziah Sturgis), Josiah (m. Sophia Luce), and Mary. I would love to learn the names of John's children and who they married as well. I would be interested in knowing where they all moved to also.
