Hi Teresa I am Jimmy Clawsons wife. I sent you some info after Melvin past away. I have some info on Sturlon. Aunt Sissy's husband let us copy his family info back in the late 1970's. He has info back to Isaac Laken Clawson,wife Sylvia and their 9 children. First son Eben Clawson born 1791. Uncle Jim(St.Clair) doesn't document where he found everything but he told us that he found most of it when he was a truckdriver in records of the towns he went to. Anyway I am new to all this (in fact this is the first time on this web page)STURLON RANDOLPH CLAWSON B.August 28,1892 Goliad Co. D.May ?,1968.M.August 17,1924 to Trudie Ethel Nichols B.February 13,1908. Had 6 children.Have info on these if you need them. His parents were John William Clawson B.April 3,1858 D.October 1940 Married Fannie Bacon ? she died ??,1890 They had two children Hughlon Franklin Clawson B.October 31,1884 Bell County and William Laken Clawson B.October 30,1886 Coryell County. 2nd marriage to Ida Polliar B.December 16,? M.November 1891 D.April 16,1940 They had 10 children-James Henry(March 1889, CoryellCo.), Sturlon Randolph(born August 28,1892 Goliad Co) Robert Roscoe(March 17,1894Goliad Co) Archie Rudolph(March 5,1896 Goliad Co) Aaron Clarence(?1898 Jackson Co) Roy Vollie(?1901 San Patvicio Co) Fannie(March 24,1904 Bell Co. Tx) Annie(May 26, 1906 Bell Co) Harvey Lee(? 1908 Hamilton Co) Walter Loyd(April 27,1912 Hamilton Co)
John Williams was the 8th of 9 children born to Moses Clawson (Born December 27,1807)and Jane Anderson(no futher info) Moses and Jane's oldest son Laken J. Clawson was born October 4, 1840 and Died after the Civil War in Bell Co. Texas. Seems he was shot through cheek, taking off part of tongue, which never healed. Died at age 30 and never married.
Moses Clawson was the 7th of 9 children born to Isaac Laken Clawson and Sylvia E. Their first son Eben Clawson was born October 2, 1791.
