When I first saw your names, I thought I had caught a big one. My OOLEY and WALKER families moved from IL to Mineral Point, WI about 1847! And my name is CLAWSON and I have researched that name many years before. I have no additional data, except to ask you if you looked for your Washington under the name "GEORGE"? There were many named George Washington at that time, and 2 of my ancestors used their middle name of Washington. Belleville, N.J. must be in Essex Co, N.J. and there were a few other Clawson families there in the 1700's. The author of that book and I had corresponded, and we knew her line was neither the Swedish Clawson, nor the German, or Dutch one, unless she found out differently after that. Another suggestion: Use the given names of children to try to sort out different families of same-names. Also "HALE","HOOKER" and other surnames of children's mates. They probably lived as neighbors and traveled to OH, and on to WI together. One more: Check biographical accounts of your names in County History books everywhere your names lived.
