From Volume 10, page 78 Bible Records: John Jacob Clawson came to Maryland from Holland and settled in Cecil County, but returned to Holland about 1746, where he died. The only child of John and Mary is John Clawson Sr. born in Cecil County about 1740. Children of John Sr. are: John Jr. b 1766 d 1809 in Queen Anne County married Sarah Emory, Libby, Anne (Nancy) and Joanna.
Children of John and Massey (Harris) Clawson: Isaac married Mary Sharp, John Married Elizabeth, Israel, William, Jacob, Rachel Dunn, Anne Quick, Experience Dunn and Margaret Hoagland.
