I am researching my g-g-g-grandfather, Josiah Clawson, born 1775 --probably in southwest Greene Co PA. His parents were Garret and Mary Clawson. His siblings were likely Thomas, Peter, John, Garret Jr. and Mary Clawson. Ca 1790's, Josiah and brothers moved to Hamilton Co Ohio. Josiah, Peter, and Thomas lived in Centerville. Peter and John remained in the Preble/Shelby/ Montgomery Co area. Thomas, Josiah, and two of Peter's sons (Garret and Peter) settled Fountain County, Indiana ca 1824. Peter moved onto Carroll Co IND. Garret went across the Wabash from Fountain Co to Warren Co. I've compiled a lot of info about these lines and would love to share info with anyone else. Please email me.
