Norma,
Have you found any of your Clossons spelled as Clawson in records? I assume that it is a variation, but I am wondering about the Clawson/Closson connections in PA. I have a Jacob Clawson, son of John, born in that same time frame, and John had a brother named Richard. I know that my Clawsons of Berkeley Co., VA/WV, migrated from NY/NJ through PA. Also, the "Luther" you mentioned sounds familiar.
I will look through some of my files and see what I can find.
-Patti
