Candi: My great grandparents were Charles Albert Clawson and Florence Gertrude Smith also!! My grandmother was their daughter, Maybelle Fern Clawson Robbins.

I'll have to dig through my stuff to see if I have anything about Charles being married before.

Yes, Florence's mother's name was Paulina Frances Ferguson, daughter of Isaac H. Ferguson and possibly Elizabeth Marshall Williams. Florence's father's name was Zachariah Taylor Smith.

Charles Albert Clawson was indeed the son of Lewis Clawson and Malinda Mae Lynch. I'll e-mail you with more detailed info.
