This info is where my research stops dead in it's tracks, but here is what I have so far. Gerrit and Mary ? Klauussen came to America from the Netherlands, BUT I believe they went to the Netherlands from Prussia. I'm pretty sure they were originally from Prussia. They had 6 children that I can find. I theorize that Gerrit and Peter (one of his sons) came over first settled in Brooklyn, NY, which is where many many imigrants of dutch origin settled, and the rest of the family followed. They ended up somehow in Pennsylvania with six children.......Peter Sr. b 1758, Garret b December 25, 1759, Mary b 1762, John b 1764, Thomas b August 12 1768, Josiah b May 14 1775. .....Pete married Dolly Garrison they had 11 children, Garret married Kezia Sturgis they had 12 children, Mary married joseph Shanks they had 8 children, John married Mary Wheatley and I have No info on them, Thomas married Sophia Covalt they had 11 children, Josiah married Sophia Luce and they had 10 dhildren.
My ancestor of these siblings is either John or Peter but I can't get a definate link. One of them had a son named Peter born 1801 in Montgomery County, Ohio and he married Sarah Ifert/Iford - that is my gggg grandparents. Can you help there????
I have names and dates of most all Gerrit and Mary's grandchildren.
