I am looking for information on the family of my GG Grandfather, John Clawson. He was born in March of 1847, somewhere in Ohio (according to census records). He married Mary Jane Adams (born January 1856 in Illinois) in Bates County, Missouri in either 1870 or 1873 (I have seen both dates listed in various sources). They had the following children:
1. Emma H.J. Clawson, born abt. 1873 in Illinois*
2. Lucina Clawson, born abt. 1875 in Missouri*
3. Mary Clawson, born abt 1878 in Kansas*
(* According to the 1880 census records for Starr, Cloud County, Kansas)
4. Anna Clawson, born either 24 Jul 1879 or 1880 in Missouri or Kansas (have seen both listed); died 24 Jan 1911 in Custer County, Oklahoma. (This is my Great Grandmother)**

5. Bertha Clawson, born 7 Aug 1884 in Miltonvale, Kansas***
6. John Clawson, born January 1888 in Kansas***
7. Martha Clawson, born June 1890 in Kansas***
8. Ella Clawson, born November 1892 in Kansas***
9. Alonzo Clawson, born December 1896 in Kansas***
(***According to the 1900 Census for Grant, Jewell County, Kansas)
10. Edward E. Clawson, born abt. 1897 in Kansas****
(****According to the 1920 census for Esbon, Jewell County, Kansas. This shows John as a widower, living with a 23-year old son named Edward E. Clawson and Edward's wife Eileen, as well as his granddaughter Verna E. Clawson, born abt 1919)
