Hi Beth, You replied to James about the Clarkston's changing their name to Clark. That might explain why I'm having trouble with my family history. My ggrandmother was Jane Clark (according to the death cert.) and married Elisha Brown. They lived in Harlan County Kentucky and Lee County Virginia. She died in Kentucky but was burried in Lee County Va. Was she possibly a Clarkston? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Dan
