I too am looking for more information on John Clarkson and his wife Elizabeth (dont' know her maiden name). They had a daughter Elizabeth Clarkson christened on 10/8/1795 at Pateley Birdge, Yorkshire - she married Thomas Sutcliffe on 16/6/1818 at Whalley, Lancashire. Elizabeth Sutcliffe would have been my gr gr gr grand mother.
