There was a Robert Clarkson b. ca. 1585 d. Mar 10, 1632 who was born and died in Bradford, Yorkshire, England. He m1. Sept 9, 1610 Agnes Lilly (d Apr 15, bur 18, 1628) m2. Oct 6, 1629 Hester Ledgard Lumley (d Oct 1, 1648, who was a widow of Samuel or Ezekiel Tailor)
Robert was a woolen cloth manufacturer. Agnes Lilly married in Bradford and is buried with her husband at St. Peters Church in Bradford. Hester Lumly was married in Bradford and buried in York. Robert's father was William Clarkson, also from Bradford, b. ca. 1559 d. Oct but 18, 1619 m. ca. 1584 Elizabeth Ledgard (d. Aug 4, 1634)
Robert and Agnes Lilly had seven children:
Robert, William, Mary, Robert, Sara, David and Hester.
