I'm looking for a connection to the Lewis/Mary ? Clarkson family that was in Marion County, AR on the 1850 census. That census lists
Lewis (42 KY);
Mary (39 KY);
James (18 IL);
Thomas (17 IL);
Amanda (14 IL);
Martha (12 MO..Is this Patsy?);
Elizabeth (10 MO),
Mary (8 MO);
Eliza (6 MO .. is this the Eliza Clarkson who was living with the John Pelham family in Taney Co., MO in 1870?); and
Sarah (1 AR).
Two other Clarkson children, said to be the children of Lewis Clarkson, later marry into the Pelham family, perhaps in Newton Co., AR. William Pelham married Nancy Clarkson (b. about 1856 per 1900 census), and Lydia Pelham (b. about 1865) married William Clarkson.
Do you have this Clarkson family on the 1860 census? Thanks.
