Clarkson in OH and possibly NY

Looking for information on an Elizabeth B. Clarkson (b. 1811) who married a William Elisha Gifford in 1835. I heard that they may have come from NY. They settled in OH(Putnam and Allen Co.) sometime before 1860's. Any help is appreciated.
