CLARKSON, Louis Edgar and William Kirk

I am looking for information on Louis Edgar CLARKSON, my grandfather. He was supposedly born in Sullivan, IN in 1904. His father is supposed to have been William Kirk Clarkson born in ? in 1866. I have always been told that my line of Clarksons came here from Norway; but, after reading this list, I wonder! Any help would be great!
