I am researching my paternal grandfather, Alexander Wilson Clarkson. I pick up records on him for 1st time in St. Louis in mid 1870s as single man aged abt 19. He married there to Mary Byrnes; they had one child in S.L., Thomas in 1879 and then moved to Decatur, Illinos in 1880 where they had three more children and lived the rest of their lives. I am looking for family linkage and the home area for him. Jim Clarkson
