I was reading through the Clarkson messages and came across yours, my great grandfather, too, was Arthur William Clarkson, he was born in Newbury,Berkshire in 1844, I don't know if he had any other relatives, except his mother who he speaks of in his diary. He served with the Royal Army Medical Corp in India in around 1874, at least thats when the diary starts.
