Really need help with this possible Clarkson member.

I do not even know if she belongs, but I am trying to find out if my gggg-grandmother was a Clarkson. Her name was Mourning and she was married to Joseph Stafford. I do not know when or where she was born, but I think she was born about 1779. Possibly VA or NC? She and Joseph lived in NC. They had two boys that I know of Joseph Clarkson Stafford and Nathan Stafford. Because of naming the oldest Joseph Clarkson I was hoping it was her maiden name. If any one can help, I would really appreciate it. Mourning probably died in Randolph Co., NC.
