As far as I have found with census, etc., there was not a Lucy Ann clarkson in our family. I do not know if William and Susannah Clarkson's son William M. Clarkson survived or married in MO. Possible that he married a Buchanan, but it is more likely that your two were siblings who married Clarksons or Clarkstons.
William M. Clarkson was born about 1833 in MO. These folks moved around and were also in Rives and St Clair Co. MO.
If I find anything more, I will try to let you know. There were quite a few Clarkson/Clarkston families in MO.
