My James Clarkson was from Leeds he was born about 1805 in seacroft,Leeds. He married Ann Maria Marshall who was born about 1812 and from Guiseley, Leeds. Im not sure when they married but there first child was in 1827. There children were called:-
William Dunwell b 1827, Mary b 1833, James b1835, Rebecca b 1838, Samuel b 1840, George b 1843, Isaac b 1847, James Farrar b 1855.
George Clarkson is my gr gr granddad. I know quite a few of them eventually settled in Honley nr Huddersfield.
If any one has an knowledge about James and Ann Maria or further back please let me know. Thanks Ruth
