Karen,

My wife is a direct descendant of Manoah Clarkson, b. abt. 1741 and d. 2 Feb 1829 in VA. He had two sons by two different wives. Anselm, b. abt. 1768 and d. 28 Dec 1858 in KY, and James Fielding, b. 5 Apr 1784 and d. 13 Mar 1864 in KY. Anselm was married to Millie Jones. They did have a son Julius Fielding, b. 1799 and d. 6 May 1867 in MO. Anselm and Millie may of also had a son named Manoah since that was his father's name and not very common. There are several entries in the LDS Family Search that show a Manoah L., b. in 1801 or 1802 as the son of Anselm and Millie Clarkson. They also had a son named Achilles and a daughter named Sarah. One of Julius Fielding's son's Robert Price settled in Chariton Co., MO. I believe that your Manoah is a descendant of my wife's Manoah. If you would like more information on my wife's Clarkson line please send me your snail mail address.

Omer
