Possibly another daughter was Rachel Clarkson b. abt. 1825 OH - d. aft 1880 Iowa - possibly Mahaska Co. She m. 28 Nov 1845 Ross Co., OH to William Ratledge b. Feb 1827 Kent Co., DE - d. aft 1900 probably in Nuckolls Co., NE.
1850 Census - Pickaway Co., OH
William Ratledge 23 b. DE and Rachel 24 b. OH have one son, John 4 b. OH.
1860 Census - DesMoines, IA - Benton Twp
William Ratledge 34, wife Martha 35 b. OH, son John 14 b. OH and dau Mary 5 b. OH
1870 Census - DesMoines, IA - Benton Twp
William Ratlige 45 b. DE, Rachel 45 b. OH, John 24 b. OH and Mary 15 b. OH
In 1879 William and Rachel Ratladge of Des Moines sold their 80 acre homestead to a henry Mosby and apparently they separated.
1880 Census - Nuckolls Co., NE - Nelson Twp.
William Ratledge 50 b. DE widower living w/Henry Wherman
Mahaska Co., IA - Indianapolis Twp.
Rachel Ratledge 55 b. OH, fb MD mb MD widow
Mary M. Ratledge 24 b. OH fb MD mb OH dressmaker
living nearby . .
John Ratledge 34 b. OH fb DE mb OH and wife Mattie 20 b. IA (Rhoena Samantha Jordan) who he married in KS.

The above William Ratledge was a son of Smith Ratledge and Rachel Cornerford who came from Kent Co., DE to Pickaway Co. before 1830.
